The live cameras at Deerfield Beach belong to the City of Deerfield Beach. They are not run by the pier staff, and they are not ours. This page tells you where the City publishes them, what each one is called, who to ask when a stream is down, and what a camera cannot tell you about the pier. We checked the City’s pages on Oct. 20, 2026.
Where to watch
The City’s Livestream Cameras page links YouTube streams for seven named views: an Underwater Camera, a Beach Camera, a Pier Camera, a Sport Camera, a Surf Camera, a Bee Apiary Camera and a Zen Camera. We link to the City’s page rather than embed the streams, because they are the City’s. Open the City’s Livestream Cameras page.
Start from the City’s page so you know you are watching the City’s own feed. Some sites that turn up in searches for a Deerfield Beach pier webcam are copies, aggregators or pages with no clear owner, and we do not link to them.

|---|---|
| Underwater Camera | The City calls it “Spinner the Sea Cam” and says it sits on the ocean floor off the International Fishing Pier |

Spinner the Sea Cam
The City says: “The underwater camera is located at the bottom of the ocean off of our International Fishing Pier.” It names the camera Spinner the Sea Cam and notes that it sits in a high surf zone, exposed to wind, current, storms and waves. The City’s own warning is a fair guide: on a rough day the view may be murky, or the stream may be down.

The City’s text does not give the camera’s depth. Other websites give different figures, so we do not state one.
Who runs the cams
The City’s pier page says plainly: “The pier does not maintain the LiveStream cameras.” Camera questions go to the City’s Public Affairs and Marketing Department. The bait shop cannot fix a frozen stream. Call the pier at 954-250-4167 for hours, fees and rentals.

What a cam cannot tell you
- Whether the pier is open. From Oct. 20, 2026 the City says the pier is closed sunset through sunrise until further notice. A cam shows the view, not the gate. Check our hours and fees page.
- The beach flags. Read the flags on the beach itself, or call the City’s beach conditions line.
- Parking. The pier lot is pay-by-plate and enforced 24/7. See our parking page.
- Under "Upcoming operational impacts" the city says: "As of October 20, 2026, we will be CLOSED SUNSET through SUNRISE until further notice, due to maintenance needs." No end date is given. City of Deerfield Beach: International Fishing Pier
Before you drive: beach conditions
Ocean Rescue, the City’s lifeguard division, takes calls on its beach conditions line at (954) 480-4413, and the City publishes a Beach Conditions and Flags dashboard. Swim in front of a staffed lifeguard tower and read the flags when you arrive. The City’s pages give two different sets of lifeguard hours, which we set out on our main beach page.
- Ocean Rescue is headquartered at 71 Ocean Way (SE 21st Ave.), 2nd floor of the Fire Station. Beach conditions: (954) 480-4413. The city also publishes a Beach Conditions & Flags dashboard. City of Deerfield Beach: Ocean Rescue
The cams are also a quick way to look at the sand. The City says seaweed builds up more than average from late spring into the fall months. Its diving page puts the ocean at 72 degrees in winter and 80 in summer.

No swimming near the pier
The legal note on the City’s livestream page repeats the rule: swimming, snorkeling and diving are prohibited within 150 feet of the pier. City Code Section 50-112(f) also bans paddling, kayaking, surfing and kiteboarding within 50 yards, or 150 feet, of the pier.
- "Swimming, snorkeling, and diving are prohibited 150 feet around the pier. Section 50-112(f) of the City Code prohibits swimming, paddling, kayaking, surfing, or kiteboard/surfing within 50 yards or 150 feet of the City fishing pier." City of Deerfield Beach: Livestream Cameras (legal disclaimer)
If the underwater view makes you want to fish, start with our fishing page. For the turtles that nest on this beach, see sea turtles. To pick a stretch of sand, try our beach matcher.
Is there a pier webcam?
Yes. The city's Livestream Cameras page links YouTube streams for underwater, beach, pier, sport, surf, bee apiary and "zen" cameras. The underwater "Spinner the Sea Cam" sits on the sea floor off the pier. The pier staff don't maintain the cameras, so send camera questions to the city's Public Affairs department.
